The Indy USBC is searching for our next Association Manager.
The Indy USBC Association Manager reports directly to the President and the Board of Directors. The Association Manager will be requested to work 28 hours per week, but may be required to adjust their hours during peak periods.
The Association Manager will coordinate their absence from the office with volunteer coverage to ensure coverage in the office facility at all times.
No overtime will be paid to any individual working for the Indy USBC Association.
1. Reports to USBC as required.
2. Reports to the members of the Association when needed.
3. Receives and issues receipts for all funds paid to the Association.
4. Deposits Association funds within 7 days in the proper financial institution.
5. Ensures all withdrawals from Association accounts have two signatures.
6. Ensures Association President verifies monthly accounts.
7. Pays all bills authorized by the Board.
8. Processes memberships and remits dues to USBC within 30 days of receipt.
9. Handles Association correspondence.
10. Distributes meeting notifications to the Board, league secretaries, and league presidents.
11. Records and maintains meeting minutes.
12. Acts as Tournament Manager for all Association tournaments.
13. Ensures members awards are fulfilled in a timely manner.
14. Ensures lane certification and dressing inspections are completed and submitted to USBC in a timely manner.
15. Return phone calls and emails within one business day.
16. Should have strong organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks, be able to multitask, have good problem solving skills, and have good attention to detail.
1. Minimum of a high school diploma. Additional educational credits or seminar training a plus.
2. Needs computer skills, including: experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), Quickbooks.
3. Should have previous experience in management and/or supervision.
4. Knowledge of or willingness to learn all USBC rules.
5. Must be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
6. Previous exposure to the sport of bowling and association functions helpful.
